Private W H Johnson, brother-in-law of Mrs T Dalby, 7 Thompson's Yard, Harrogate, has died in India of malarial fever. He was well-known in Harrogate, and before leaving worked at Messrs Mackay and Sons' carriage works. He leaves a widow and two children, who reside in Middlesborough.
