Sapper J Kavanagh, whom readers will recognise as the well-known local entertainer, was the chief organiser of a very successful concert given to the wounded soldiers at the Convalescent Home, Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire. ......... The star artiste was Sapper J Kavanagh, who gave some exceedingly clever impersonations, ......... Sapper Kavanagh is a typical Royal Engineers, and worthily upholds the regimental motto. It is hoped that another concert will be given shortly, when Sapper Kavanagh and his friends will give a sketch.
