Mr & Mrs Lockwood, 37 Wedderburn Road, Harrogate, received word on Wednesday that their son-in-law, Sapper R E Mayo, RE, had been killed on the 4th by an enemy shell in France, and buried with military honours. He had been in France about 15 months. He was married at Christ Church on April 5th, 1915., and leaves a widow with one child.
