Harrogate Herald - 20th February 1918

Private G Metcalfe, Royal Fusiliers, whose home is at 34 Albert Place, Starbeck, was wounded on the 28th January and is now in hospital at Southampton. He joined the Army in June, 1918, and went to France last September. Prior to enlisting he was employed at the Imperial Café as a baker.
