Mr & Mrs A Mudd, Boroughbridge, have received official information that their third son, Private A Mudd, West Yorkshire Regiment, has been wounded in the head, and is now in hospital in the South. Private Mudd joined the West Yorkshires in 1915, and has been at the front since last Christmas. Mr & Mrs Mudd have three other sons serving in the forces.
