Harrogate Herald – 13th February 1918
Letters
Private C writes :
Just a line to thank you for the papers and razor
which you were so kind to send me. Excuse me not answering sooner,
as we were up to the "dinkie" when I got it. I was coming
out of the line and met a Harrogate lad called Simpson. He was going
on leave. I had no talk with him, as he was gong one way and we the
other. He is in the F's I saw in last week's paper the four photos
of Mudd's boys from Boroughbridge. The younger lad, Herbert
Mudd, is in the same company as I, so I pass the paper on to
him. Please thank the kind donor for the razor.
