Harrogate Herald - 8th December 1915

I send you many thanks for the Heralds which I have received every week from you regularly. I am sorry I have not written before now, for I have been kept on the move this last week or two, and owing to my motor lorry having to leave the column for overhauling. I had to come to the base, where I daresay I shall stop for a little while. I am sorry to say I have not had the best of health lately, but hope to be all right soon, as I am longing to get back up country. We are having some awful wet weather just now. Hope you are having better weather than we are. I will close my letter, wishing the Herald every success.
