Chats with the Wounded
Private A W Patrick, of the Norfolks, is in
the Beaulieu Hospital with a bullet wound in the right arm. They
were in the neighbourhood of Arras at the time, and were advancing
to the attack, when Patrick came under the eye of a sniper.
The bullet passed clean through the arm. This is the third time he
has been wounded. He was hit by shrapnel in the leg, and
subsequently when he was back in the trenches he was again struck on
the leg with shrapnel. He is now going on nicely.
