Harrogate Herald - 5th September 1917
Letters
R Iveson writes :
Just a few lines to ask if you would be so kind as to forward me E
Pickersgill's address, as we were big pals when in England. I
should like to ask you if you have any cigarettes that you could
send me, as we are a long way from anywhere where we can get them,
and we don't get much money to buy them with. If you will be so kind
to do so I shall be very pleased. Well, I have known E
Pickersgill all my life, but I could never get to know where he
was until I got a paper from home - the Pateley Bridge and
Nidderdale Herald - and I saw a letter from him. I thought if I
wrote to you for his address I should be able to get it. I will
close now, wishing the best of luck to the Harrogate people.
