Harrogate Herald - 1st August 1917
Letters
Corporal E Radband, one of the Beechwood Boys, writing to
James Grafton, 18 Denmark Street, Harrogate, whom they were in the
habit of calling "Dad", says :
Just a line to let you know that I have at last got settled down
for a while in hospital, so I shall be glad to hear from you now. I
am fairly comfortable, and there is nothing to grumble at, only the
fact that all my mates and I have now been separated, and that does
not agree with me.
