Harrogate Herald - 29th January 1919
W H Breare letter
Sapper Reaveley, RE, 62 Regent Avenue, looked in on
Monday. He is on a short leave, and has been out over a year. His
trade fitted him for cable laying in the sewers, etc., at the front,
and in the course of his duties he was "gassed", and this
and rheumatism has kept him in hospital since last June. He got gas
into his system in January last year and came home, but went out
again. He has been in several hospitals in the South, but I regret
to say is not well yet.
