Harrogate Herald - 22nd December 1915
Private A Reynard, who is in Ward A3, 1st Southern General
Hospital, writes :
You will see by the above address I am back in England. I have
been sent back after a short time in Alexandria. I have got
nephritis, and have been left the peninsula five weeks now. I
haven't seen a copy of the herald since the day I left the
peninsula, so I should be pleased if you could oblige me with a
copy. I expected being sent to Beckett's Hospital, Leeds, but I
wasn't lucky enough to get so near home. Anyhow, I will keep smiling
and close now, wishing you all the compliments of the season.
