Trooper Herbert Rowles

 
 

Harrogate Herald – 23rd December 1914

December 19th, at St Mary's Church, Harrogate, by Rev E A Chard, Trooper Herbert Rowles, of the Berkshire Yeomanry Reserve, and youngest son of Mrs William Rowles, of Westfield farm, Weston-on-the-Green, Oxon, to May Stokes, daughter of Mrs Stokes, of the Wellington Hotel, Harrogate, and the late Edward Stokes, of Upper Berwick, Shrewsbury.

Pannal Golf Club – Annual Meeting

……………the report and balance sheet were adopted, and it was decided to keep a permanent record on the minutes of all members who had joined the Forces, and that letters of sympathy be sent to the relatives of Lieutenants Schunck and Yates.

The hon. Secretary, Mr J C Walsham, reported that the full list of members who were serving were as follows :
