Lieutenant C Schoon, of Harrogate, is now in solitary confinement at Krefeld, being one of the 39 officers whom the Germans have sent to solitary confinement cells five yards by two yards as a reprisal for the British authorities dealing separately with German submarine prisoners. He is the brother of Mr S Schoon, of Upper Denmark Street, Harrogate, who has seventeen relatives serving with the colours.
