Roll of Honour
We regret to announce that, on the 23rd ult., as a result of an
accident while flying at Uphavon, Lieutenant Philip Sellers,
formerly of Harrogate, was killed. He was the third son of the late Mr
H B Sellers (late general manager of the Yorkshire Penny Bank)
and Mrs Sellers, Tresneer, St Andrew's Road, Malvern, and was
aged 18 years. He joined the Worcester Regiment, but was attached to
the RFC. Lieutenant Sellers got his "wings" on
March 20th, and was expecting to go to France shortly. He was an
excellent pilot, and very much beloved by his fellow officers. His
parents resided in Harrogate for many years.
