Roll of Honour

Mr and Mrs Thomas Spence, Knott Side, Pateley Bridge, have received the sad news from the War Office of the death of their only son, Private E H Spence, who joined up last year on August 18th in the RFA. His death was due to pneumonia following measles, and took place in an isolation hospital in France on March 19th. They have had a letter of sympathy from the King.
