Chats with the Wounded
Lance Corporal Thompson, of the West Yorkshires, is in the
Grove House Hospital with shrapnel wounds in the right elbow. They
were advancing in France and were going over the top when a shrapnel
shell burst overhead. He is going on well. Lance Corporal
Thompson took part in the Gallipoli campaign, and was in the
Suvla Bay landing. From the Peninsula he went to Egypt, and then to
France.
