Lieutenant Anthony Graham Titley, West
Yorkshire Regiment, who has been killed in action, was a grandson of
the late Anthony Titley, senior, of the Manor House, Headingley,
Leeds, and cousin of Mr J E A Titley, solicitor, Harrogate.
Educated at Mr Roscoe's School, Harrogate, and at Repton until he
was about 19 years of age, he then went into the West Yorkshire
Militia, and rejoined his old regiment about two years ago, being
appointed machine-gun officer and instructor. Two months ago he went
to the Front, and was reported killed on April 15th.
