Wednesday Gossip
Gunner Towse, RHA, writing from Lucknow, India, to me W H
Breare, says :
"Just a line in return for your kindness in sending me the
Harrogate paper, which I receive every week. Well, I look for it
every mail that arrives in Lucknow. I see by the paper that you have
been having some good times in Harrogate. I often think of the old
town, although I am far away. I see by the paper I received this
week, dated August 25th, that you are now on the point of starting
the football season, which I hope will be a success. I am in the
best of health, although the heat is very strong. I am sorry to say
that I have not met any Harrogate boys out here, but I have seen one
or two Leeds boys who know Harrogate well. I thank you once again
for your kindness in sending me the paper."
