Roll of Honour
Mrs Walton, Chatsworth Place, Harrogate, has
received intimation that her husband, Lance Corporal T Walton, was
wounded in the left arm on the 9th inst. at the Battle of Arras, and
is now in hospital at Leicester. He was billposter at the Kursaal up
to joining the Army. He offered his services at the time that John
Grange, another Kursaal employee, joined a Scottish Regiment, but
was rejected on account of varicose veins. Subsequently he was
called up in his group and ultimately went to France.

Roll of Honour
Frank Sawbridge, son of Mrs T Walton, of Cavendish Street,
Harrogate, was wounded on Easter Monday, which was the same day as
his brother, Corporal T Walton. He was previously wounded in the
eye, but remained in France, and returned to the firing line. His
mother can give no further information as to his present injury or
whereabouts.
