Roll of Honour
Bombardier Allan Weatherhead, RFA (aged 23), second son of
John Weatherhead, Burn Bridge, Pannal, enlisted January,
1916, went to France May, 1917, and died of wounds June 9th, 1917.
For nearly five years he was with Mr & Mrs Frankling, to whom he
was a faithful and reliable servant. Immediately before the war he
held an appointment as first footman in Ireland, which he left to
enlist.
