Harrogate Herald - 5th December 1917
W H Breare letter
Corporal Charles Musham, Army Veterinary Corps, came in this
morning. I didn't happen to see him, but he is coming again. Musham,
whose son occasionally comes to help us out, is a bright little chap
and very good worker. Musham says that Ralph Suttill's son, of the
King's Royal Rifles, was wounded, but is now all right. Musham and
Suttill had tea together, and he gave Suttill his Herald. Frank
Wells, of Bilton, is with Musham's lot and has been out two
years and eight months, and neither sick nor wounded. This is his
second leave. Goes back 10th December. Before the war he worked for
Topham Brothers, the decorators. Musham served with the Yorks
Dragoons in the South African War, and has altogether six years
active service.
