Private J F Wells, Motor Transport, ASC, was killed in France on September 6th. He was the third son of the late Francis Wells, and the beloved husband of Mrs Vinnie Wells, of Studley. Previous to enlisting he was employed as a joiner on Lord Ripon's estate.
