Roll of Honour
Driver Clarence Wilkinson, son of Mr & Mrs W
Wilkinson, 57 Eastville Terrace, Ripon Road, Harrogate, was
wounded in the hip and ankle on 7th June in France, and had had to
have his leg amputated. He is in the New Zealand General Hospital
and progressing favourably. he joined the Army in November, 1914,
and was wounded previously after fourteen months service. He
returned to France in March this year. He was employed at the
Gasworks prior to enlisting. His brother, T V Wilkinson, is
an able-seaman on one of HMS.
