Private Percy Willis, of the West Yorks Regiment, was killed in action on April 13th, He was a native of Sharrow, Ripon, and as a boy was in the Sharrow Church choir. Before joining the Army he was in the service of Miss Ryder, Seacroft, Leeds, as a gardener.
