Sergeant J J Winterburn, of Harrogate, is now
in hospital and progressing favourably, after having been gassed at
the Front.

Sergeant John Winterburn, son of Mr & Mrs R
Winterburn, 27 Tower Street, Harrogate, has been wounded. In a
letter home he says : "Just a few lines to put your minds easy.
I am in this hospital after 14 hours on the train, and glad to say
feeling no worse. You need not worry. You need not write until you
hear from me again, which I hope will be somewhere in Blighty".
