At Wesley Chapel on Saturday a khaki marriage was celebrated, the contracting parties being Sergeant T Wood, Royal Engineers (son of Mr and Mrs Wood, of Harlow Terrace), who was home on short leave, and Miss Minnie Bell, second daughter of Mr and Mrs Smith Bell, of East Parade, Harrogate. The Rev J R Irving was the officiating minister.
