Harrogate Herald - 23rd May 1917
Wednesday Gossip
I have explained that authorities at some hospitals refuse in
certain cases to transfer to Harrogate our wounded boys. I have just
heard that Corporal Young, who is at Clarendon Park Hospital,
has received a refusal. In justice, I should explain that often in
some of these cases the patient is on the point of receiving his
discharge from hospital, therefore transference is unnecessary.
