John Harrison - 22nd May 1724 - K018

Whitewall

I have surrendered my Copyhold property (my house and 4 closes containing 1 acre) to my Trustees Thomas Harrison and Christopher Harrison on the death of my mother Anne Harrison.

I give the above to my wife Jane Harrison, and at her death the same to my daughter Jane Harrison. Should my daughter die before reaching 21 then the same to my brother Christopher.

I have also surrendered six closes containing 2 acres. These I give to my wife and at her death to my daughter. Should she die before reaching 21 then the same to my three sisters, Anne Gill [Anne Harrison], wife of Thomas Gill, Mary Harrison and Susan Harrison.

At the death of the longest surviving, then the same to my brother Christopher, chargeable with £20 to John Gill, son of my sister Anne, at the rate of £4 per year.

To my daughter Jane, £60 when she reaches 21.

To my brother Robert Harrison 5s.

Residue of my goods, chattels and personal estate to Christopher Harrison and my wife Jane, and appoint the Executors.
