My house in which I live and the stable now occupied by William Edson I give to John Wigglesworth of Pateley Bridge, Innholder, and Thomas Groves of Knaresborough, Schoolmaster, Upon Trust to sell and pay the following legacies :

To Charles Yeoman, the son of my niece Elizabeth Yeoman, £40, and to each of his three children £10.

To Peter Yeoman, another son of Elizabeth Yeoman, £20.

To Thomas Yeoman, another son of Elizabeth Yeoman, £10, and to each of his children £10.

To Elizabeth Poynter, Dorothy Houseman, Sarah Yeoman and Susanna Yeoman, daughter of Elizabeth Yeoman, £45 each.

To William Yeoman the son of my nephew Robert Yeoman £40.

To my nephews and nieces Charles Yeoman, Dorothy Wigglesworth, Mary Wood, John Fryer, Mary Norris, Dorothy Craven and William Fryer, and my great nephew William Fryer of Knaresborough, £40 each.

To the husband of my late niece Ann Horner £40.

To Mary Craven, the daughter of Dorothy Craven of Dallow Gill, £40.

To Elizabeth Yeoman £30.

To Jane Collins £40.

To Thomas Yeoman, the son of John Yeoman, £40.

To Elizabeth Houseman, the daughter of Thomas Houseman, £15.

To George Fairburn of Tadcaster £20.

To William Graystone of Pateley Bridge £10.

To John Wigglesworth £50 In Trust to use the interest for the benefit of the son of William Graystone (who is a cripple). On his death the same to go to any other of the children in equal shares.

To Elizabeth Poynter, the daughter of Elizabeth Yeoman, my best deal drawers.

To Mary Poynter, another daughter of Elizabeth Yeoman, my best bible.

To Charles Yeoman, son of Elizabeth Yeoman, my other remaining chest of drawers with the cupboard.

To Susanna Yeoman, the daughter, and Isabella Yeoman, the daughter-in-law of Elizabeth Yeoman, my silver tea spoons and silver sugar tongs.

To Susanna Yeoman my bed, bedstead and hangings, also the desk and cupboard in my room.

To Charles Yeoman, son of Elizabeth Yeoman, my close bed and bedding and all my working tools and stock in trade.

I order that my house and stable be sold and the money to be equally divided amongst my nephews and nieces Elizabeth Yeoman, Charles Yeoman, Dorothy Wigglesworth, Mary Wood, John Fryer, Mary Norris, Dorothy Craven and William Fryer.

I appoint John Wigglesworth and Thomas Groves as executors.

Codicil - 7th June 1815

I give the two houses adjoining the one I now live in, which are now occupied by Charles Yeoman and George Livesey to John Wigglesworth and Thomas Groves upon the same Trusts as in my Will.

Witnesses : William Danbuey, Samuel P Pullan, William Olton

Testator died 16th June 1815. Probate 22nd June 1815. Effects under £1,500
